Fewer empty runs. Better customer communication.
Our sister company Jagelo Haulage reports fewer empty runs, fewer days short of work and growth in customers and revenue while using our Logivo transport management system.
Jagelo Haulage is our sister company. Logivo.AI is one of our products. This case study brings the two together: a Suffolk transport business, a system developed around operational work and improvements that the business has experienced in practice.
Jagelo provides container haulage across the UK's major ports, including Felixstowe. While helping build the business, SuffolkWeb founder Vytautas Pipiras worked on improving its workflow and created Logivo, a transport management system for haulage and container operators.

Built from scratch, managed every day
Vytautas helped build Jagelo Haulage from scratch and continues to oversee it daily. As of September 2026, the business figures he reports are 40 trucks and £7 million turnover.
Those figures describe the scale of the business today. They are not a calculation of revenue generated by Logivo. The software story sits within the wider work of building and running a transport operation.
The business goal: make more of the working day
For a haulier, a busy fleet and a productive fleet are not always the same thing. Empty running uses vehicle time and operating resources without carrying a paying load. Days short of work leave available capacity unused. At the same time, customers need prompt answers and dependable updates about their transport.
Jagelo wanted the operational and customer sides of the business to work better together: a more useful workflow for the team, clearer information for customers and a stronger basis for keeping work moving.
The opportunity extended beyond the public website. Winning an enquiry matters, but the experience after that enquiry helps shape whether a customer trusts the business with the next job.
A transport system connected to real work
Logivo brings together job planning, driver briefing, proof-of-delivery capture and the information needed for invoicing. Its product approach also includes practical AI to support transport operations.
Those functions follow the life of a job. The information needed to plan a movement should remain useful when briefing the driver, checking completion and preparing the invoice. A clearer flow of information helps the office keep track of the work and gives customer communication a firmer foundation.
For Jagelo, prompt information and timely customer updates became an important part of the improvement while using Logivo. The system was well received by the team and customers, according to Vytautas's account of the project.
This is the kind of connected operational work we address through custom business systems and workflow automation: understanding the handovers, keeping useful information available and making the next action clearer.
What Jagelo reports changed
The business reports four positive outcomes while using Logivo:
- Fewer empty runs, making better use of transport activity.
- Fewer days short of work, with a more consistent flow of work for the operation.
- More customers, alongside improvements in how promptly information was provided.
- Higher revenue, with timely updates forming part of the customer experience.
Together, these outcomes describe improvement across both operations and customer service. They connect the work behind the scenes with the experience that customers receive.
Why communication belongs in the system
A customer arranging transport needs to make decisions around the movement: when goods can be collected, what information is needed and what has happened next. Prompt information helps that customer plan their own work.
When the team can provide useful updates at the right time, the service becomes easier to work with. That creates a practical reason for a customer to return. Jagelo's experience shows why customer communication deserves attention alongside planning and administration when improving a business system.
What this means for your business
You do not need to run a fleet to recognise the pattern. A workshop has jobs and customer updates. A trades business has appointments, materials and quotations. A professional firm has enquiries, documents and deadlines.
We start by understanding where work slows down and where information fails to reach the person who needs it. The answer may be a better enquiry process, connected tools or a purpose-built internal system. AI can support suitable tasks within that process.
Evidence note: The current business scale and operational improvements are reported by Vytautas Pipiras about our sister business. The improvements are qualitative; no before-and-after percentages or revenue-growth comparison are claimed, and Logivo's contribution is not separated from other business activity.
For your own process, compare standard software, automation and a custom system. The guide includes a first-pilot scope with review, exception handling and a manual fallback. Our starting routes explain what a discovery or pilot produces before a wider build is agreed.
