From a standing start to daily sales.
Building visibility in the competitive GPS tracker market. Six months of Google Search data, a working online business and a milestone that matters: daily sales.
Fleetalyse sells GPS tracking hardware and subscriptions and provides fleet tracking, remote tachograph downloads and operational reporting. It competes for attention in a market where buyers have established brands, marketplaces and specialist suppliers to choose from.
For Vytautas Pipiras, the challenge was to turn a new online presence into a business that people could discover, understand and buy from. Within six months, Fleetalyse had moved from a standing start to daily sales.
The project at a glance
| What to assess | Evidence and context |
|---|---|
| The business | A GPS hardware, subscription and fleet-tools project in Vytautas Pipiras's portfolio. |
| Search visibility | Google Search Console: 1,119 clicks and 207,830 impressions, 19 March–18 September 2026. |
| Business milestone | Daily sales, confirmed by the owner; no order total or revenue is published here. |
| The buying journey | Product information, hardware purchases, subscriptions and a route to discuss a fleet rollout. |
| What the data cannot establish | Which query produced an order or how much of the sales activity was caused by organic search. |
The numbers behind the story
Google Search Console's six-month Web report shows:
- 1,119 search clicks to Fleetalyse.
- 207,830 search impressions: appearances in Google Search results.
- 0.5% average click-through rate.
- 18.3 average search position across the report's queries and impressions.
The reporting period is 19 March–18 September 2026, with Web search selected and no country or query filter. We checked the exact totals in Search Console on 20 September 2026. The screenshot displays Google's rounded values of 1.12k clicks and 208k impressions.
The early part of the chart shows very little search activity. From late June and July, impressions rise substantially and clicks become more consistent. The day-to-day line still moves up and down: growth does not mean every day sets a new record.
Daily sales is the business milestone confirmed by Vytautas. Search Console measures search visibility and clicks, not orders or revenue. The figures above do not assign every sale to organic search, and this case study does not publish a sales total or revenue figure.
Which searches brought visitors?
The leading reported query was the brand name, “fleetalyse”, with 161 clicks and 275 impressions. Non-brand searches also brought visitors, including people researching specific tracker models and looking for practical transport information.
The examples below come from the same six-month Search Console Web report, sorted by clicks:
| Search query | Clicks | Impressions |
|---|---|---|
| teltonika fmc003 | 10 | 191 |
| teltonika fmc920 | 8 | 160 |
| renew digital tachograph card online | 7 | 655 |
| fmc003 | 7 | 132 |
| digital tachograph card renewal | 5 | 383 |
| tachograph card renewal online | 5 | 320 |
| teltonika fmb920 | 5 | 58 |
Specific product searches matter because the visitor already has a model in mind. Practical guides reach people with related operational questions. These figures show visits from both kinds of search; they do not identify which query produced an order.
Which searches created the most visibility?
Sorting the same report by impressions shows Fleetalyse appearing for broader commercial phrases:
| Search query | Impressions | Clicks |
|---|---|---|
| commercial vehicle tracking | 1,496 | 0 |
| hgv tracking | 1,340 | 1 |
| commercial fleet tracking | 1,132 | 0 |
| fleet analytics | 1,061 | 0 |
| fleet tracking uk | 1,015 | 0 |
| fleet management software | 966 | 0 |
This is a useful distinction: visibility is growing, but these broad phrases are not yet major click sources. The next opportunity is to improve relevance, search presentation and positions for the searches that fit the product offer. Reported query rows are a selection and do not add up to the site's total; Search Console omits some query data.
What Ahrefs sees
We also checked Fleetalyse in Ahrefs Site Explorer on 20 September 2026. Its all-location overview reported 42 organic keywords, including 7 in the top three, and 68 estimated monthly organic visits. These are Ahrefs estimates from its keyword database, not the six-month Google totals above.
In the United Kingdom keyword report, leading current traffic estimates included:
| Keyword | Estimated monthly organic traffic |
|---|---|
| tacho card renewal | 6 |
| hgv tracker | 5 |
| fms connector | 4 |
| haulage software | 4 |
| digital tachograph card renewal | 4 |
| smart dash | 3 |
| renew my tacho card | 3 |
The picture includes buying research, hardware terms and practical transport questions. Ahrefs and Search Console cover different datasets and reporting periods, so their totals should not be added together. The impressions in this case study come from Search Console; Ahrefs search volume is not a count of Fleetalyse impressions.
Ahrefs' AI responses overview also detected 45 responses citing Fleetalyse across 25 pages in its monitored index, including 5 ChatGPT responses and 5 Perplexity responses. This is a dated snapshot of the responses Ahrefs tracks, not a count of all AI searches or a promise of future recommendations. It provides a practical example of AI search visibility alongside traditional search.
A website connected to a real offer
Fleetalyse gives buyers several ways to get started: purchase tracking hardware, choose a platform subscription, bring compatible devices or discuss a commercial fleet rollout. It explains the differences between GPS tracking, tachograph tools, fleet reporting and hardware options.
That matters because a buyer looking for a specific tracker has a different question from a transport manager comparing a wider fleet system. Both need a clear path to the next step. Product pages, service explanations and practical resources give the website more ways to answer those needs.
The platform also includes customer access, mobile applications and an API for connecting tracking information with other systems. It is an example of the work behind an online business: a public website, a product offer and the operational tools needed to support customers.
What this demonstrates
Fleetalyse provides a concrete example of a project in Vytautas's portfolio that has developed search visibility and reached daily sales in a competitive category. The evidence is the visible website, its offer and the Search Console report above.
It also shows why impressions alone are not the finishing line. At 0.5% average CTR and an average position of 18.3, there is still room to improve how often the site appears prominently and how effectively relevant impressions become clicks. A useful growth programme keeps improving product information, search relevance and the buying journey rather than stopping at a rising chart.
This is one project's experience, not a promise that another business will reach the same result in six months. A local service business and a national hardware retailer have different audiences, buying cycles and starting points.
What could the next six months look like for your business?
If you need to be found, start with SEO and local search. If visitors arrive but do not enquire, look at the website and quotation journey. If orders or enquiries create too much manual work, consider automation or a custom business system.
You do not need to know which one to choose before contacting us. Tell us what you sell, who you want to reach and where the process is getting stuck. Use the website enquiry checklist to identify a specific problem, or choose a scoped website or search review.
